Rollo von Roth is a stunning pure German Shepherd from a breeder. He is just three years old, housebroken, has had obedience training, good with cats, good with dogs out and about but rather not share his home with one. He lived most of his life in a home, he was never in a kennel, he loved his owner who could no longer care for him. It is always sad to walk by Rollo’s kennel at the rescue, the other dogs get excited and are jumping and barking, but he just sits there looking so sad, it is heartbreaking to see. He needs a special kind of owner, one that is calm but confident and who will make him feel that he has a pack leader. He would do better with one person or a physically active and confident couple. Rollo lived with our trainer for a month and can come with some follow up help from the trainer who knows him well. Once you know Rollo’s secrets to success, it isn’t so hard.
